Island Getaway

I've never stayed the night on an island that you can only come to by boat. An island where no cars exist and people just travel by golf cart. An island that is barely inhabited with only two local restaurants and one grocery store.

We rode there by ferry and stayed for two nights. The weather wasn't what we anticipated but we made the most of it. We had dinner on the porch with the full moon shining down on us. We bundled up and absorbed all the sounds of the ocean.

Boat rides, beach walks and island roaming consumed the day time. In the evening we slept with the windows open listening to the sounds of the ocean. North Captiva was a nice vacation.
